We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with robust expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join our QA Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable UI automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Develop end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional automation test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results and prepare test reports.
- Ensure automation coverage and improve test execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
reviews, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of overall QA Automation experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript (Mandatory).
- Strong experience in UI automation testing.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good to Have
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- API Automation (Postman/Playwright API).
- Cross-browser testing.
- Performance and test reporting tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
