Role Description The Python Technical Lead is a full-time role based in Bengaluru offered on a hybrid model that combines on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the design, development, and implementation of Python-based applications and services, providing technical leadership to an engineering team throughout the software development lifecycle.

The Technical

Lead reviews and optimizes code, defines coding standards and best practices, and ensures solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting system components, guiding team members through complex technical challenges,



conducting code and design reviews, and coordinating with product owners, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders. The role also involves mentoring developers, contributing to technical roadmaps, resolving production issues, and supporting continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Python(Django) programming, including experience with contemporary frameworks and libraries for building scalable applications and services.
- Demonstrated skills in software architecture and design, including microservices, APIs, and integration patterns across distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and performance tuning in production environments.
- Proficiency in software development practices such as version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality assurance.
- Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and providing technical guidance in complex projects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security best practices, observability (logging, monitoring, tracing), and reliability for enterprise-grade systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid, cross-functional, and global team settings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
