Role & responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for civil and construction-related materials.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Source quotations, compare commercial terms and negotiate prices, quality and delivery timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, stores and accounts teams for material requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure materials are procured as per approved specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and pending supplies.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documentation and MIS reports.
- Support cost optimization through effective vendor negotiation and alternate sourcing.




- Resolve material quality, quantity, delivery and billing-related issues with vendors.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E. Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- 35 years of relevant experience in Civil / Construction Purchase & Procurement.
- Strong working knowledge of construction materials, specifications and suppliers.
- Experience in sourcing materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, plumbing, electrical, hardware and other construction-related items.
- Valuable negotiation, vendor management and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage procurement timelines effectively.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, purchase documentation and basic ERP systems.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
- Candidates without relevant Civil/Construction Purchase experience are requested not to apply.
