We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to join our Purchase department at our Chakan, Pune facility. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end procurement activities for OPEX and MRO items, driving cost-effective and timely sourcing to support uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement of OPEX (Operational Expenditure) items for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and offices
- Source and procure MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) materials, consumables, spare parts, safety items, and utilities/services
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production and maintenance downtime
- Identify and develop new vendors for cost-effective procurement
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, EHS, QA, Warehouse, and Finance departments
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and supporting documents
Desired Candidate Profile:
- BE/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical preferred)
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing purchase
- Proficient in SAP/ERP systems
- Robust negotiation and vendor management skills
- Age group: 25–35 years
