Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor development, price negotiation, purchase orders, and timely delivery of materials. The candidate should have good knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, and MS Excel/ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

- Source materials as per company/project requirements.

- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare comparative statements.

- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, freight, and other commercial terms.

- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).

- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Engineering, Accounts, and Projects teams.

- Verify material specifications, quantities, rates, taxes, and delivery terms before placing orders.

- Maintain vendor database, purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and related documentation.

- Monitor pending purchase orders and resolve delivery, quality, and commercial issues.

- Develop alternate vendors for critical materials.

- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.





- Coordinate with Accounts for invoice discrepancies and supplier payments.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase MIS reports.

- Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.

- 2–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company.

- Experience in purchasing engineering components, raw materials, spares, consumables, or project materials is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.

- Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchase documentation.

- Positive knowledge of MS Excel.

- ERP/SAP/Tally knowledge will be an advantage.

- Ability to read and understand technical specifications/BOMs is preferred.

- Good communication and follow-up skills.

- Strong analytical and cost-comparison skills.

- Ability to handle multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.

- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.

- ERP Software Knowledge

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
