Job Role-

Review & discuss RFQ with CFT received from customer & share RFQ with supplier.

Regular follow up with supplier for timely receipt of quotes, give input on drawing, standards & part function if required.

Review supplier quotes for accuracy (process, cost, etc.)

Conduct quote analysis by using zero based costing and supplier quotes

Negotiate with supplier to bridge the gap between zero based pricing and supplier quotes

Identify new suppliers as per parts suitability in terms of manufacturing setup, quality, delivery & price.

Work with supplier for parts development

Knowledge-

Good communication skills verbal & email.

Have good knowledge of processes like casting, forging, machining, forming, fabrication, plating, Heat Treatment process, electrical and electronics & plastic parts manufacturing process etc.

Have good experience of supplier handling & negotiations skills to get quotes on time & with right first time.





Have good knowledge of reading and understanding engineering drawings & GD&T;

Positive skill of supplier handling & getting things done from suppliers on time.

Strong believer in CFT culture regular interactions with supplier & customer with no surprises.

Assessment Skills - Assess, Evaluate, monitor the manufacturing process and give feedback for continuous improvement as & when required.

Good understanding of System & Software CAD, Pro E & Validation activities.

Capable of handling new programs without or with minimal supervision.

Visit supplier as and when required to validate samples & manufacturing processes & Supplier assessment.

Having experience of dealing with overseas customer will be an added advantage.
