Accountant – Interior & Furniture Company

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 3–5 years of relevant experience in Interior, Furniture, Construction, or Turnkey Project companies .

Key Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime & MS Excel
- Project-wise costing, expenses & profitability
- Purchase, sales, billing, receipts & payments
- Vendor, subcontractor & client account management
- GST, TDS, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B & 2B reconciliation
- Inventory/material purchase & stock accounting
- Client outstanding & payment follow-up
- Preparation of MIS, P&L;, Balance Sheet & reconciliation
- Coordination with CA, vendors and clients

Qualification: B.Com/M.Com preferred Experience: 3–5 Years

Industry Experience: Interior/Furniture/Construction/Turnkey preferred

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Gurugram, with a combination of in office office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Purchase & Accountant professional will manage day-to-day purchasing activities for interior and furniture materials, including vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase order preparation, and coordination of deliveries to project sites.

The role will also handle accounting tasks such as recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, monitoring project-wise budgets,



and assisting with invoices and payments. The individual will collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure materials and furniture align with project specifications and timelines, while maintaining cost efficiency. Regular reporting on purchase status, inventory levels, and financial summaries will be required to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, and negotiation for interior and furniture materials.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and invoice processing.
- Experience using accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to work with project teams to track budgets, monitor costs, and align purchases with project schedules.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills for handling multiple projects.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and clients.
- Prior experience in an interior design, architecture, or furniture company is highly desirable.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
