Role Overview
We’re looking for a PR Manager to lead media relations strategy and execution for a portfolio of clients, manage a small team of PR executives, and serve as a senior point of contact for client communications and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end PR strategy and execution for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media houses across print, digital, and broadcast
- Draft and pitch press releases, media notes, and story angles that land coverage
- Lead crisis communication and reputation management when needed
- Manage and mentor PR Executives, reviewing their pitches and media lists
- Present PR strategy, coverage reports, and results to clients directly
- Track media coverage and report on campaign performance and ROI
- Coordinate with the Social-Media and Influencer teams for integrated campaigns
- Stay on top of industry trends, journalist beats, and media landscape shifts
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in PR/communications, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity
- Agency background strongly preferred
- Solid existing media relationships across Indian print and digital outlets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage
- Experience handling client-facing strategy conversations
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
