Project Manager – Planning & Execution

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering manufacturing/engineering projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires coordination between cross-functional teams including design, procurement, production, quality, and finance, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, monitor, and execute projects from initiation to completion.

· Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and cost estimates.

· Prepare and track project schedules using tools (MS Project / Primavera or ERP).

· Coordinate with proposal, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution.

· Manage customer communication, technical clarifications, and progress updates.

· Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flows to ensure profitability.

· Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.

· Ensure adherence to industry standards, quality, and safety regulations during project execution.

· Conduct periodic project review meetings and submit MIS reports to management.

· Manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

· Support commissioning, installation, and handover activities at project sites.

· Own the project and ensure transparent communication.

· Prepare and track project budgets; ensure spending is within approved limits.

· Coordinate with finance and cost controller for project cost monitoring and forecasting.

· Good knowledge of engineering drawing reading.

· Knowledge of various types of plastic pipes, plates, fittings, etc.

· Knowledge of various types of welding m/c & processes

· Knowledge of various types of pipe supports & clamps

· Understanding of RFQ/inputs received from client





· Preparation of costing with the marketing engineer

· Preparation of Gantt chart / Schedule for the project

· Visit to site as & when required at the time of installation & Pre Sales Process

· Project Billing and Closing

· Hiring of Project Engg/Supervisor/QAP Engg/Safety /Store etc project requirement

Qualifications:

· DME / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

· PMP/Prince2 certification is an added advantage.

· 5–10 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or project-based company.

Skills & Competencies:

· Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

· Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

· Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, ERP, and MS Office tools.

· Good understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and project execution.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

· Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on results.

Work Environment:

· Office and manufacturing plant with frequent travel to client sites, vendors, or project locations.

· Capabilities of handling multiple projects at a time.

· Good strategic thinking & analytical abilities.

· Arranging kick off meeting with project department.

· Delegation of project work.

· Monitoring the project progress/execution.

· Meetings with project team (weekly or as & when reqd. basis).

· Preparation of cash flow statement costs and profitability.

· Customer satisfaction and repeat business.

· Quality and safety compliance.

· Effective resource and risk management.

· Ability to resolve project hurdles quickly

· Timely billing (to Client & from Contractors), and expense tracking

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
