Project Manager – Digital Manufacturing

Employment Mode: Full Time – Work From Office

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage end-to-end software development and delivery for clients in the Digital Manufacturing / Manufacturing Technology domain.

IMPORTANT – MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

Manufacturing domain/client experience is mandatory.

Candidates should have proven experience managing technology projects for manufacturing organizations. Candidates with strong generic IT project management experience but without manufacturing client/domain experience will not be considered.

EXPERIENCE

- 8+ years of experience in IT project management / software delivery.
- Proven experience managing software development projects for manufacturing clients.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end project delivery.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage end-to-end delivery of software projects for manufacturing clients.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project plans and delivery schedules.
- Track project progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate development, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, data, implementation, and other project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope and budget.
- Drive project execution from requirement gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Act as the primary project-level point of contact for clients.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, reviews, demonstrations, and governance meetings.
- Manage customer expectations and communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies clearly.
- Handle escalations and drive timely resolution of customer and project issues.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
- Work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps, and implementation teams.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints and drive mitigation plans.
- Manage scope changes and change requests through appropriate governance.
- Manage projects using Agile/Scrum and other appropriate delivery methodologies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and project tracking.
- Track development, testing, UAT, deployment, and release activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and track project KPIs.
- Support presales activities, client discovery, project estimation, resource planning, proposals, and delivery approaches when required.

TECHNICAL & PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS




- Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resources.
- Robust knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project financials, resource utilization, billing, and delivery margins is an advantage.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master / Agile certification preferred.

MANUFACTURING DOMAIN

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

MES | ERP | Production Management | Quality Management | Maintenance Management | Warehouse Management | Supply Chain | IoT / IIoT | SCADA | Machine Integration | Industry 4.0 | Smart Factory | Manufacturing Analytics | AI/ML for Manufacturing | Digital Manufacturing Platforms

They should be comfortable working with:

Manufacturing Client → Business Requirements → Development Team → Technical Lead → QA → Deployment → Customer UAT → Production The person should be able to independently manage the client relationship, project governance, delivery team, schedule, risks, scope, and overall project outcome.

Manufacturing experience is a mandatory screening criterion.
