Ni-De Tech LLP currently focuses on serving aluminum, iron, and steel industries, working closely with clients on their critical production processes. Team members collaborate with international partners and industrial customers, gaining exposure to advanced technologies and large-scale projects.

Role Description This is a full-time Project Field Engineer role with base location as Kolkata, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-officeflexibility.The Project Field Engineer will oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial equipment, coordinating closely with OEMs and customer teams. Daily responsibilities include hands on work to complete Installation & Commissioning of Aluminum Extrusion Lines and ensuring projects are executed according to specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

The role involves preparing technical reports, documenting service activities, and providing clear guidance to clients on equipment operation and best practices.

Engineer will also support project planning, communicate progress to stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong field service and technical support skills for industrial equipment in sectors mainly aluminum sector.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating on-site activities with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, OEM representatives, and internal teams, both in person and remotely.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) and foundational knowledge of industrial machinery and safety standards.
- Ability to work in office in industrial environments, travel to client locations as needed, and manage tasks independently within a hybrid work model.
- Prior experience in installation, commissioning, or maintenance of heavy industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with documentation tools and MS Office for reporting, record-keeping, and communication.
