PROJECT ENGINEER - CIVIL

We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. If you have experience in this field we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, schedule, monitor and coordinate the assigned engineering projects
- Interact with clients Representatives/Contractor/Architect Representatives etc. on a daily basis
- Find out about clients' needs and wants (if necessary as per Project Site)
- Manage the project resource plan and budget
- Manage project issues, risks and actions
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability
- Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
- Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP)
- Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and assist in preparation of Minutes Of Meetings.
- Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment.
- Sub-contractors bill preparation on weekly or completion basis.
- Preparing record drawings, technical reports, site diary and monthly status report
- Supervising and counselling junior or trainee engineers
- Observance of safety requirements
- Quality control in accordance with procedures, method statements,



quality plans and inspection and test plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors
- Resolving technical issues with superiors, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities
- Liaising with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
- Must have laptop for work purposes.
- Robust ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in Revit Architecture is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work with a start-up firm and contribute as a valuable team player.
- Education: B Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred) with relevant experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
