PROJECT ENGINEER (CONSTRUCTION)

Location: Kabini, Mysuru

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Construction to manage and coordinate construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings and quality standards. Candidates with strong experience in hotel/hospitality construction projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues, deviations, and delays.
- Ensure proper manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available as per project requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.




- Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Identify project risks and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and site safety standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for timely availability of materials.
- Assist in quantity verification, measurement, certification, and contractor bill verification.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates to management.
- Support snagging, rectification, completion, and final handover of the project.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
- Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale building projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project coordination, quality control, and site execution.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, estimation, and project documentation.
- Robust communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work at the Kabini project site.
