Desired Candidate Profile

Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Ph.D. preferred).

8 to 15 years of relevant academic and/or industry experience.

Prior experience as HOD, Program Coordinator, Academic Lead, or Senior Faculty is preferred.

Solid expertise in Residential, Commercial, Retail, and Sustainable Design.

Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Passion for academic innovation and student development.

About the Role

ITM Institute of Design & Media is looking for an experienced Program Mentor (HOD) Interior Design to lead the department, mentor faculty and students, and drive academic excellence through industry-oriented education and innovative learning practices.

Key Responsibilities





Lead and manage the Interior Design department, ensuring academic quality and student success.

Deliver advanced lectures and studio sessions in Interior Design.

Mentor faculty members and monitor curriculum delivery.

Guide students in Graduation Projects, Residential Design, Commercial Office Design, Retail Design, Sustainable Design, and Portfolio Development.

Develop curriculum aligned with industry trends and emerging design practices.

Build strong collaborations with architects, interior designers, design firms, and industry experts.

Facilitate internships, live projects, workshops, exhibitions, and placement initiatives.

Ensure effective academic planning, assessments, accreditation compliance, and continuous improvement.

Support admissions, student mentoring, industry engagement, and institutional development initiatives.
