About the Prospect A leading healthcare innovator in India’s academic and clinical oncology sector, we are building a next-generation cancer care ecosystem that merges cutting-edge surgical research with mission-driven patient outcomes. Our surgical oncology division drives high-impact clinical trials, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and national protocol development—shaping the future of cancer surgery across tier-1 and tier-2 cities. We’re expanding our faculty to lead education, innovation, and compassionate care at scale. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead surgical oncology services with focus on breast, GI, hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB), and head & neck cancers—performing complex resections and reconstructive procedures.
- Oversee trainee education: mentor residents and fellows in surgical technique, perioperative care, and tumor board decision-making.
- Design and implement clinical research protocols—collaborating with pathology, radiology, and medical oncology to drive multidisciplinary outcomes.
- Contribute to institutional cancer registry development and quality benchmarking aligned with NCCN and NCSI guidelines.
- Represent the institution in national oncology forums, guideline committees, and surgical skill workshops.
- Advocate for patient safety, surgical innovation, and ethical standards in high-volume cancer surgery settings.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- DNB/MS General Surgery
- DM/MCh Surgical Oncology
- FMAS or FICS certification
- Robotic Surgery Training (Da Vinci or equivalent)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) proficiency
- Fluoroscopy-guided procedures
- ONCO-PROTON certified (if applicable)
- ACLS/BLS certified
Preferred
- Published research in surgical oncology journals (PubMed-indexed)
- Experience in setting up cancer surgery fellowships or training programs
- Participation in NCCN/ESMO tumor board protocols
