About the Role
We are looking for a Production Technician to support the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality inspection of medical devices. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
The role involves hands-on work in the production process, ensuring that products are assembled correctly, tested as per specifications, and completed within the required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly
● Perform assembly of medical/electronic devices as per approved drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
● Carry out soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly, and component fitting as required.
● Operate production tools, equipment, and testing instruments safely.
● Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality.
● Follow standard processes and work instructions during manufacturing.
Testing & Quality Control
● Conduct functional and quality checks on components and finished products.
● Perform basic electrical/electronic testing using instruments such as multimeters, power supplies, and other testing equipment.
● Identify defects, assembly issues, or abnormal product performance.
● Record test results and maintain accurate production and inspection records
. ● Ensure products meet defined quality specifications before moving to the next stage.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
● Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
● Report recurring defects or production problems to the Production/Engineering team.
● Assist in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
● Maintain production tools and equipment in good working condition.
Documentation & Compliance
● Maintain production logs, checklists, inspection records, and other required documentation.
● Follow applicable SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
● Ensure proper traceability of components, batches, and finished products
. ● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
Inventory & Material Handling
● Verify components and materials before starting production.
● Handle electronic components, tools, and equipment carefully.
● Report shortages, damaged components, or material discrepancies to the concerned team.
● Support proper storage and identification of production materials.
Required Qualifications
● ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
● 1–2 years of experience in production, assembly, electronics manufacturing, or medical device manufacturing..
● Basic knowledge of electronic components, wiring, soldering, and testing.
● Ability to read basic circuit diagrams, drawings, and work instructions.
● Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Preferred Skills
● Hands-on experience with electronic/electrical assembly.
● Knowledge of soldering and PCB assembly.
● Familiarity with multimeter and basic testing equipment.
● Basic troubleshooting skills.
● Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
● Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
● Good communication and problem-solving skills.
● Strong focus on quality and safety.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Production output and achievement of daily/weekly targets.
● First-pass yield and reduction in production defects.
● Adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
● Accuracy of production and testing documentation.
● Reduction in rework and material wastage.
● Timely completion of assigned production activities.
● Compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Working Conditions
● Hands-on work in a manufacturing/production environment.
● May require prolonged standing and repetitive assembly activities.
● Must follow company safety, quality, and cleanliness requirements.
● Occasional support to other production or engineering activities may be required.

Production Manager / Production Engineer
