About the role: We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer – L3 with 5–7 years of hands-on experience supporting Java/Spring Boot applications on AWS.

The candidate will be responsible for providing L3 production support, troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues, performing root-cause analysis, resolving incidents within SLA, and ensuring high availability and stability of production systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, application troubleshooting, incident management, log analysis, performance monitoring, and production deployments.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 production support for Java/Spring Boot applications running on AWS.

Analyze and resolve complex production incidents, application failures, performance issues, and integration problems.

Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective solutions.

Monitor application health, availability, performance, logs, and system metrics.





Troubleshoot Java/Spring Boot application issues, including exceptions, memory/performance problems, API failures, and database connectivity issues.

Investigate issues across application, AWS, database, network, and integration layers.

Work with development, DevOps, cloud, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve critical incidents.

Support production deployments, releases, hotfixes, patches, and rollback activities.

Analyze application and infrastructure logs using appropriate monitoring and logging tools.

Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within defined SLA/OLA timelines.

Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Identify recurring issues and drive automation and preventive improvements.

Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, RCA documents, and knowledge articles.

Participate in on-call/shift-based support activities when required.

Ensure production environments follow appropriate security, availability, reliability, and operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

- 5–7 years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on production support experience.
- Solid programming/application troubleshooting experience in Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs/microservices.
- Experience supporting applications deployed on AWS.
- Proven experience in L3 production support rather than only L1/L2 monitoring.
- Strong experience in incident management, troubleshooting, RCA, and problem management.
- Experience analyzing application/server logs and identifying root causes.
- Understanding of application performance, JVM issues, memory problems, API failures, and connectivity issues.
- Experience working with production deployments and release management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently during critical production incidents.
- Willingness to work 2:00 PM–10:00 PM IST with EST overlap.
- Comfortable working remotely with geographically distributed teams.
