Position Overview

We are looking for a Production Supervisor who has hands-on experience in food manufacturing and a good understanding of production processes for products such as jams, pickles, ghee and honey.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production, managing contract labour, ensuring quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities from raw material handling to finished goods.
- Have practical knowledge of production processes for jams, pickles, ghee, honey and similar food products.
- Manage and allocate work to contract labour and production workers.
- Ensure correct recipes, batch sizes, processing methods and SOPs are followed.
- Monitor cooking, processing, filling, packing and labelling operations.
- Maintain production records, batch records and stock consumption records.
- Ensure proper cleaning, hygiene, sanitation and GMP practices on the production floor.
- Monitor wastage and minimise production losses.




- Check basic quality parameters during production and immediately report deviations.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are used correctly and basic operational issues are identified.
- Coordinate with stores for availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Ensure finished products are properly packed, labelled and stored.
- Maintain discipline and productivity of workers.
- Support implementation of FSSAI, GMP, HACCP / food safety and ISO requirements.
- Assist during audits, inspections and quality checks.

Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG / food manufacturing, preferably in a small or medium-sized food factory.
- Hands-on knowledge of jams, pickles, ghee and honey production is strongly preferred.
- Should understand basic food processing, batch production and packaging.
- Experience handling contract labour / factory workers.
- Valuable understanding of hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices.
- Should be practical, disciplined and comfortable working on the factory floor.
- Ability to maintain basic production documentation and records.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Should be willing to work at the Umbergaon factory.

Salary: As per experience and suitability

Location: Umbergaon, Gujarat

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
