Role Description The Production Specialist role at Lactalis India is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. In this role, the Production Specialist supports daily plant operations, ensuring that dairy products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities typically include monitoring production lines, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, optimizing production schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. The role involves tracking production data, identifying process improvements,



assisting in implementing standard operating procedures, and supporting training for production staff.

The Production

Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to achieve output targets, reduce waste, and maintain consistent product quality.

Qualifications

- Experience in dairy or food manufacturing operations, with skills in production planning, process monitoring, and line supervision.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI or equivalent) within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical aptitude in using production machinery, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with maintenance for minimal downtime.
- Data-oriented approach with skills in recording, analyzing, and reporting production metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and management teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and hygiene practices.
- Relevant diploma or degree in dairy technology, food technology, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in dairy or FMCG manufacturing is an advantage.
- Willingness to work adaptable shifts as required by production schedules and commit to on-site work in the Greater Hyderabad Area.
