Position Overview

- We are looking for an experienced PPC Manager / Senior Manager with strong experience specifically in the Defense & Aerospace Manufacturing / OEM sector.
- The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Production Planning & Control, including demand planning, MPS/MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, material planning, WIP control and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete PPC function for Defense & Aerospace manufacturing programs.
- Prepare and control monthly, weekly and daily production plans based on customer requirements, project milestones and manufacturing capacity.

- Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Plan production considering BOM, routing, lead time, machine capacity, manpower, tooling, raw materials and bought-out components.
- Monitor production orders from release through completion and dispatch.

- Closely monitor WIP, shortages, bottlenecks, production delays and schedule deviations.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, SCM, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance and Program Management to achieve delivery commitments.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower and manufacturing resources.

- Track Plan vs. Actual, Schedule Adherence, OTD/OTIF, WIP, Capacity Utilization and Production Efficiency.
- Conduct daily/weekly production review meetings and escalate critical delivery risks to management.

- Ensure proper planning and control of long-lead items, imported materials, critical components and outsourced processes.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), prototype and development program planning.
- Maintain accurate production data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure timely closure of production orders.

- Drive reduction of manufacturing lead time,



WIP and production bottlenecks.
- Develop PPC MIS and management dashboards for program and production reviews.
- Ensure PPC processes comply with applicable AS9100, customer, defense and aerospace quality requirements.

Mandatory Candidate Criteria Only candidates from the Defense & Aerospace sector / Defense & Aerospace OEMs are eligible to apply.

Minimum 10 years of relevant PPC / Production Planning experience in the Defense & Aerospace industry.

Candidates from Automotive, General Engineering, FMCG, Consumer Products or other non- defense/non-aerospace industries will NOT be considered.

Robust knowledge of Aerospace/Defense manufacturing processes, production documentation, traceability and configuration-controlled production.

Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP, BOM, Routing, Capacity Planning, Shop Orders and WIP Control.

Good understanding of AS9100 / Aerospace Quality Management System and manufacturing compliance requirements.

Educational Qualification :

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Aerospace Engineering.

MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain / Operations will be an added advantage.
