Core Responsibilities

- Production Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee daily baking operations to meet retail and wholesale demand.

- Staff Supervision: Manage, train, and schedule shift tasks for bakers, decorators, and kitchen assistants.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent adherence to recipes, portion standards, visual appearance, and product taste.

- Inventory Control: Track ingredient levels, place supplier orders, monitor usage, and minimize food waste.

- Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce local health standards, sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines across all workstations.

- Operational Efficiency: Optimize kitchen workflows, manage labor costs, and maintain equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

- Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory role within a commercial bakery or high-volume kitchen.

- Technical Skills: Need knowledge of qualified baking techniques, commercial kitchen machinery, and dough/pastry production.
