Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with strong hands-on experience in biscuit and cookies manufacturing to manage end-to-end production operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality and food safety, manpower management, cost control, machinery efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly biscuit production to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor the complete biscuit manufacturing process, including raw material preparation, dough mixing, forming, baking, cooling, cream/sandwiching, packaging, and dispatch .
- Ensure consistent product quality, food safety, hygiene, compliance with company standards.
- Manage manpower, raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, production schedules, and shift operations efficiently.
- Monitor production wastage, yield, efficiency,downtime & production costs & implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and other departments for smooth production operations.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and timely breakdown management of biscuit production machinery.
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) ,including formulation,trials,testing,process optimization, and commercialization of new biscuit products.
- Identify opportunities to improve recipes, production processes, productivity, product quality,



and cost efficiency.
- Prepare production, efficiency, wastage, quality, and performance reports for management.
- Train and supervise production staff on production processes, food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage, improve productivity, and optimize production costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Be willing to work in rotational/night shifts, weekends, and extended hours as required.

Required Qualification

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
- MBA will be an added advantage.

Required Experience

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in biscuit/cookies manufacturing or a similar food manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a managerial/supervisory production role .
- Strong practical knowledge of biscuit production processes, production planning, quality control, manpower management, and production machinery .
- Experience in NPD, formulation, product trials, and commercialization will be highly preferred.
