Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and hands-on Production & Bottling Operator to work at our alcoholic beverages / IMFL manufacturing plant in Kolhapur.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production, distillery operations, bottling, packaging, quality checks, material handling, and production documentation. The role requires close coordination with the Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Plant Management teams to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in distillery, liquor, IMFL, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing operations and be comfortable working in a plant workplace and in shifts.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Distillery Operations

- Assist in the day-to-day production and manufacturing operations of alcoholic beverage / IMFL products.
- Operate and monitor assigned production machinery, equipment, pumps, tanks, conveyors, and process systems as per SOPs.
- Follow production schedules, batch instructions, process parameters, and instructions given by the Production Supervisor / Plant Manager.
- Monitor production processes and immediately report any abnormality, leakage, equipment issue, process deviation, or safety concern.
- Ensure proper handling and transfer of spirit, alcohol, finished products, and production materials as instructed.
- Maintain proper production discipline and ensure that process operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Assist during plant start-up, shutdown, cleaning, product changeover, and routine operational activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the production and processing areas.

Bottling & Packaging Operations
- Operate and monitor the IMFL/alcoholic beverage bottling and packaging equipment.
- Handle the complete bottling process including bottle feeding, rinsing, filling, capping, sealing, labelling, batch coding, inspection, and packing.
- Check filling levels, cap sealing, label positioning, batch numbers, bottle condition, and packaging quality.
- Identify and remove underfilled, overfilled, leaking, damaged, broken, incorrectly labelled, incorrectly coded, or improperly sealed bottles.
- Monitor bottling-line performance and maintain the required production speed and efficiency.
- Assist with line setup, changeovers, cleaning, basic adjustments, and shutdown procedures.
- Minimize product wastage, bottle breakage, packaging losses, and production rejection.




- Ensure finished bottles and cartons are handled carefully and transferred to the designated storage/dispatch area.

Quality & Compliance
- Follow all company SOPs, quality standards, production procedures, safety rules, and hygiene requirements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Team for product and packaging inspections.
- Ensure production and bottling activities are carried out according to approved specifications.
- Maintain proper batch-wise production records, wastage records, rejection records, and shift reports.
- Immediately report any quality issue, contamination risk, product loss, or process deviation to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow all applicable plant requirements related to alcohol handling, fire safety, environmental safety, and workplace safety.

Maintenance & Plant Coordination
- Conduct routine operational checks of machinery and equipment.
- Report machine breakdowns, unusual sounds, vibration, leakage, or performance issues to the Maintenance Team.
- Assist the Maintenance Team during routine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment checks when required.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, Stores, and Warehouse teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper availability and handling of bottles, caps, labels, cartons, and other packaging materials.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate daily production and bottling records.
- Record production quantity, wastage, rejection, downtime, bottle breakage, and other operational information.
- Submit shift-wise reports to the Production Supervisor / Plant Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation as required by company procedures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of daily and monthly production targets.
- Bottling output and line efficiency.
- Minimum product, bottle, and packaging-material wastage.
- Reduction in bottle breakage and rejection.
- Accuracy of filling, capping, labelling, and batch coding.
- Compliance with production and quality SOPs.
- Reduction of avoidable machine downtime.
- Accuracy and timely submission of production records.
- Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping compliance.
- Proper coordination with Production, QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Candidate Profile




- 2–5 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, bottling, distillery, beverage, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Experience in IMFL / alcoholic beverages / liquor manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with bottling, filling, capping, labelling, coding, conveyors, and packaging machinery will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in a distillery or liquor manufacturing plant will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable working in a factory/plant environment and rotational shifts.
- Should be physically fit and capable of handling operational and production-related activities.
- Strong discipline, punctuality, responsibility, and willingness to follow plant procedures.

Education 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma preferred.

Candidates with technical qualifications in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

- Full-time, on-site position at our manufacturing plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
- Rotational shifts may be required depending on production requirements.
- The role involves working around alcohol products, production machinery, glass bottles, packaging equipment, and industrial equipment.
- Strict compliance with plant safety, hygiene, and operational procedures is required.
- Candidate should be willing to stay and work in Kolhapur based on operational requirements.
- Accommodation/guest-house and food facilities may be provided as per company policy.
