About the Role:
Hero Vired is looking for a Product Manager who works close to the build. You'll own strategy and execution across our learning platform, growth and conversion funnels, and enterprise products (ERP, LMS, university and partner integrations), working with engineering, design, growth, SEO and business teams.
The role is hands-on and conversation-heavy.
We expect you to prototype ideas yourself with AI tools and pull your own data, and to spend a large part of your week in rooms where engineering, growth, business teams and ops all want different things. Running those conversations well matters as much as your product judgement.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap for one or more areas across learning platform, growth funnels, and B2B/enterprise systems, from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Lead the forums where decisions get made: roadmap reviews, prioritisation calls, sprint planning. Leave each one with an outcome everyone understood the same way.
- Hold alignment across engineering, design, growth, SEO, content and business teams, including when their priorities conflict with yours.
- Gather requirements from internal ops, admissions and university relations teams, and turn partner needs relayed to you into buildable specs.
- Make your case to your manager with the reasoning and evidence intact, so decisions can be taken upward without a second round of digging.
- Decline requests clearly, with reasoning people can accept even when they disagree.
- Build working prototypes with Claude Code, Codex or similar to test ideas and shorten the distance from idea to decision,
and write specs engineering can act on without a follow-up call.
- Define and track success metrics (activation, engagement, conversion, retention, referrals, CSAT, NPS), run user research, and use both to prioritise.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3-5 yrs in product management with direct product ownership and features you took from idea to launch.
- Strong verbal communication and stakeholder management. You'll run reviews, negotiate scope with engineering, keep growth and business teams aligned, and gather requirements from ops and admissions teams. Be ready to talk through a specific time you pushed back on a senior stakeholder and how it landed.
- Strong written communication. Specs, decision notes and update docs are a constant part of the work.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding and prototyping tools (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity or similar). We'll ask you to walk us through something you've built.
- Comfort with data: defining metrics, reading dashboards, making prioritisation calls from them. Google Analytics, Search Console, Clarity and Freshdesk familiarity is a plus.
- Good design sense, enough to tell when a flow isn't working and say why.
- Structured problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity. EdTech, growth-led products or B2B SaaS experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
What You'll Get
- A product area you own outright, with a manager close enough to the work to unblock you quickly.
- Short feedback loops and a real say in what gets built.
- A high-ownership setting where your decisions shape the learner experience and drive growth.
