About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Product Manager who can take end-to-end ownership of our product development journey.

This is not a traditional coordination-focused Product Manager role. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding a business problem, translating it into a viable product, working closely with the technical team, making product and technology-related decisions, defining the MVP, and driving the product from concept to development, launch, and continuous improvement .

As we are a growing product-based organization, this role requires someone who is comfortable working in an environment where processes are still evolving and who can take independent ownership and responsibility for building the product .

1. Product Ownership

- Take complete ownership of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and further improvements.
- Understand the business problem and translate it into a clear product vision.
- Identify customer needs, pain points and opportunities.
- Define product goals, priorities, roadmap and milestones.
- Identify and prioritize MVP features based on business value, customer needs and technical feasibility.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the product based on user feedback and business requirements.

1. Product Development

- Work closely with developers, UI/UX designers and other stakeholders throughout the product development process.
- Convert ideas and requirements into explicit product specifications and actionable development requirements.
- Break down complex requirements into manageable features, user stories and development priorities.
- Participate actively in product planning, development discussions, testing and release activities.
- Ensure that the final product aligns with the intended customer and business requirements.

1. Technical Understanding & Collaboration

- Work closely with the engineering team on technical feasibility and product implementation.
- Understand and participate in discussions related to APIs, databases, system architecture, integrations, security, scalability and technology choices .
- Evaluate technical limitations and make appropriate product trade-offs.
- Challenge technical and product assumptions when required.
- Ensure that product decisions consider both business requirements and technical feasibility.
- Act as an effective bridge between business requirements and engineering execution.

1. Product Strategy & Market Understanding





- Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and product gaps.
- Understand the target customer and their actual problems.
- Identify opportunities for product differentiation.
- Work with the marketing and sales team to understand market feedback and customer requirements.
- Translate market feedback into actionable product improvements.

1. Product Launch & Growth

- Develop product launch plans in coordination with relevant teams.
- Work with marketing and sales to ensure the product is positioned appropriately in the market.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback after launch.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop subsequent product iterations.
- Use product data and customer feedback to support product decisions.

1. Cross-Functional Leadership

- Coordinate effectively with engineering, UI/UX, marketing, sales and management.
- Establish clear priorities and communicate them effectively to the team.
- Resolve product-related conflicts and make decisions based on business impact, customer value and technical feasibility.
- Take accountability for product outcomes rather than simply tracking tasks.

Required Experience & SkillsEssential
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Development, Technical Product Management or a closely related role.
- Proven experience in taking a product from concept/idea to development and launch .
- Strong understanding of the software product development lifecycle.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate effectively with software engineers.
- Practical understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, system architecture and software development processes.
- Experience working with engineering and UI/UX teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to define MVPs and prioritize product features.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving organization.

Preferred
- Experience working in a startup or product-based organization .
- Experience building products from the ground up.
- Experience with B2B/B2C digital products or SaaS products.
- Experience working closely with founders or senior management.




- Exposure to product analytics and customer feedback mechanisms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum-based product development environments.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Productboard or similar platforms.

- Following up with developers
- Tracking Jira tickets
- Reporting project status

The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in product decisions and development discussions and take ownership of the product outcome. Key Success Indicators The successful candidate will be expected to:

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Product Management or a related field.

A relevant Master's degree or equivalent professional experience will be an advantage.
