Product Head Travel Insurance, SaaS & VAS

About the Role .

We are looking for a Product Head, based in Mumbai, to own the roadmap across three fronts: core travel insurance products, our SaaS platform (agent/partner-facing tools), and our Value Added

Services suite.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for travel insurance plans, the SaaS platform, and the VAS suite

Translate business goals (B2B2C shift, instant claims, embedded tech, global expansion)

into clear product requirements and specs

Work closely with engineering, design, and QA to prioritize and ship features on schedule

Define and track product metrics adoption, retention, claims turnaround time,

partner/agent usage

Conduct competitive analysis of key players in the travel insurance and assistance space to inform positioning

Gather requirements from sales, branch, and agent network teams and convert them into product features

Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and stakeholder communication





Coordinate with marketing on feature launches, positioning, and go-to-market plans

Own VAS pillar growth feature enhancements, partner integrations, usage analytics

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of product management experience (fintech, insurtech, SaaS, or travel-tech preferred)

Proven experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end, from discovery to launch

Robust understanding of B2B and B2B2C business models

Comfortable working with engineering teams; basic understanding of APIs/integrations a plus

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making

Prior exposure to insurance, travel, or SaaS products is a strong plus

Nice to Have

Experience with claims or assistance platforms

Familiarity with embedded insurance/VAS models

Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-growing startup environment
