Role Description This is a full time, on-site Product Designer role based in Noida.

The Product

Designer will work on end-to-end product design for home lighting and décor items, from concept development and prototyping to final production-ready specifications.

Responsibilities include conducting user and market research, creating visual design concepts, developing product features that balance aesthetics and usability, and collaborating with engineering, production, and merchandising teams. The role involves preparing design documentation, iterating based on feedback, ensuring materials and finishes align with brand standards, and supporting quality checks for new collections.

Designer will also contribute to trend analysis and help maintain a cohesive design language across FIG Living’s product portfolio.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Product Design and Design Thinking skills for developing user-centered, manufacturable products.
- Degree in Product Design or Industrial Design from top-tier design institutions (such as NID, NIFT, Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, or MIT Institute of Design, Pune), or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates should possess Visual Design skills to create appealing, brand-aligned aesthetics and clear design specifications.
- Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills to understand customer needs, behaviors, and preferences.
- Relevant experience in consumer product, industrial, or furniture/home décor design is beneficial.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., CAD software, 3D modeling, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work closely with vendor teams on-site.
- Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
