Procurement Trainee Mechanical spares and Chemicals

Experience: 1 to 2 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering

1-2 years experience as GET Trainee in purchase related work in Chemical or Pharmaceutical related manufacturing plant

Location: Satara, Maharashtra

:

- Handle procurement of mechanical spare parts, engineering items and chemicals for production.
- Obtain and analyze vendor quotations and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP and follow up for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors, Maintenance, Stores, Finance, and Accounts.
- Support vendor development, alternate sourcing,



and cost reduction activities.
- Monitor inventory requirements and ensure availability of critical maintenance spares.
- Maintain procurement documentation, MIS, and purchase records.
