Espirit Toyota is looking for a Procurement Officer – Exchange Evaluator to evaluate and procure used vehicles offered by customers as part of exchange/trade-in transactions. The candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle condition, determining market value, negotiating purchase prices, and ensuring profitable procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and evaluate used vehicles offered for exchange.

- Assess vehicle condition, accident history, service records, ownership, mileage, tyres, engine, transmission, body and interiors.

- Determine the appropriate exchange/procurement value based on market conditions and vehicle condition.

- Conduct test drives and identify mechanical or structural issues.

- Coordinate with the Sales Team to provide accurate exchange valuations.

- Negotiate with customers to finalize vehicle purchase/exchange prices.

- Conduct market research to understand current used-car prices and demand.

- Verify vehicle documents, RC, insurance, service history, loan/hypothecation and ownership details.

- Coordinate with workshop/technical teams for detailed vehicle inspections when required.





- Maintain proper records of evaluated and procured vehicles.

- Ensure vehicles are procured within approved valuation and profitability guidelines.

- Build a strong pipeline of quality used vehicles through customer exchanges.

Requirements

- Diploma(Mech/Elec) or Graduate in any discipline preferred.

- 1–3 years of experience in used-car evaluation, vehicle procurement, exchange or automobile sales.

- Robust knowledge of automobile/vehicle assessment.

- Good negotiation and communication skills.

- Knowledge of used-car market pricing and valuation.

- Ability to identify accident, mechanical and cosmetic issues.

- Good knowledge of vehicle documentation and ownership procedures.

- Valid driving licence with knowledge of 4 wheeler driving is preferred.
