Role & responsibilities

- Manage procurement of polymers, resins and plastic raw materials

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with polymer suppliers and vendors

- Handle price negotiation, cost reduction and supplier development

- Monitor market trends, polymer prices and ensure competitive sourcing

- Plan material availability based on production and inventory requirements

- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Stores and Finance teams

- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and service

- Ensure timely procurement while optimizing inventory and working capital

- Support alternate material/supplier development and cost-saving initiatives
