Role: Process & Proposal Manager

Industry: Water & Wastewater Treatment

Key responsibilities:

- Study customer enquiries, tenders and technical specifications.
- Understand raw water/wastewater characteristics and treatment requirements.
- Develop suitable water/wastewater treatment process schemes.
- Prepare process calculations and equipment sizing.
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs;, hydraulic calculations, equipment lists and design basis.
- Select technologies such as RO, UF, DM, softener, filtration, ETP/STP, MEE/ZLD, ion exchange and related treatment systems, depending on the project.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare technical compliance statements, deviations and clarification sheets.
- Prepare BOQ/MTO and obtain quotations from vendors.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, costing and project teams.
- Review vendor quotations and incorporate suitable equipment into the proposal.
- Support estimation/costing and ensure the proposal meets project budget requirements.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings,



customer discussions and technical clarifications.
- Support negotiations and revisions until order finalization.
- Ensure proposals are submitted within the tender deadline and comply with customer specifications.

Preferred Candidate:

- Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering background
- Strong knowledge of water & wastewater treatment processes
- Process design and equipment sizing
- PFD/P&ID; understanding
- RO/UF/DM/ETP/STP/ZLD knowledge
- Tender and proposal preparation
- Cost estimation and BOQ preparation
- Vendor enquiry and technical offer evaluation
- MS Excel and MS Office
- Good technical writing and communication
- Ability to coordinate with Sales, Design, Procurement and Projects
- Experience 5-10 years
