Position: Junior Engineer Process Equipment Design (Heat Exchangers)

1. Company Overview Blast Carboblocks Pvt Ltd, established in 1982. Last 4 decades we are engaged in the design, manufacturing, and supply of process equipment, specializing in Graphite heat exchangers and related Turnkey systems for handling highly corrosive fluids. Our primary client base includes API bulk drug manufacturers and agrochemical & speciality chemical industries.

2. Position Summary The Junior Engineer will support the marketing and engineering team by handling technical inquiries, designing heat exchangers, preparing techno-commercial offers, and coordinating with clients from inquiry stage to order finalization.
3. Key Responsibilities

3.1 Inquiry Management

Monitor emails daily for new inquiries

Maintain and regularly update the inquiry tracking list

Ensure proper documentation and status tracking of all inquiries

3.2 Technical Design

Perform thermal design of heat exchangers based on client process data

Select suitable models and configurations for corrosive fluid applications

Prepare design datasheets and technical inputs for proposals

3.3 Client Interaction

Interact with clients to resolve technical queries

Support technical discussions along with senior engineers

3.4 Proposal Preparation

Prepare techno-commercial offers in coordination with senior engineers

Ensure timely and accurate submission of quotations

Maintain alignment between technical specifications and commercial terms

3.5 Follow-up & Order Finalization

Regular follow-up with clients for all inquiries until order closure

Track inquiry progress and update.





3.6 Order Processing & ERP Handling

Review Purchase Orders (PO) received from clients

Record and verify PO details in ERP system

Release work order for production after internal approval

3.7 Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports

Maintain proper records of inquiries, offers, and orders

3.8 Drafting & Drawing

Edit and update General Arrangement (GA) drawings in AutoCAD

Coordinate with design team for drawing revisions

- Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.E. in Chemical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2 years in process equipment design

Experience in heat exchanger design preferred

- Required Skills

- Basic understanding of heat exchanger design and process calculations Working knowledge of AutoCAD for GA drawings

Good communication and coordination skills

Sincere, disciplined, and detail-oriented

Robust problem-solving ability

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

1. Compensation Salary Range: Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 4,20,000 per annum (CTC)

1. Working Conditions Office-based role with cross-functional coordination

Client interaction for technical discussions on phone & VCM

Occasional Client Visits for technical clarifications & presentation.
