About the Role

We are looking for a Pro Desk Trader who is passionate about financial markets and has a strong understanding of trading, market dynamics, and risk management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades, identifying market opportunities, managing positions, and maintaining disciplined risk management practices. The role is suitable for an individual who can make quick, data-driven decisions while maintaining composure in fast-moving market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute trades across equity, futures, options, and other permitted market instruments based on defined trading strategies.
- Monitor live market movements, price action, volume, news, and other relevant market indicators.
- Identify short-term and intraday trading opportunities.
- Develop, test, and refine trading strategies in coordination with the trading team.
- Maintain disciplined entry, exit, position-sizing, and stop-loss practices.
- Monitor open positions and manage risk throughout the trading session.
- Analyze trading performance and maintain detailed trading records.
- Review daily P&L;, trade statistics, drawdowns, and risk metrics.
- Follow the firm's trading limits, risk parameters, and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on market developments, economic events, corporate announcements, and other factors affecting market movements.
- Collaborate with senior traders and the research/analysis team to improve trading strategies and execution.
- Continuously evaluate trading performance and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.
- Good knowledge of technical analysis, price action, market structure,



and risk management.
- Familiarity with equity, futures, and options markets.
- Ability to interpret charts, indicators, market data, and trading signals.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent decision-making skills under pressure.
- High level of discipline and emotional control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced market setting.
- Good understanding of position sizing, stop-losses, risk/reward, and drawdown management.

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of trading experience in equities, futures, options, or proprietary trading.
- Experience working with a proprietary trading desk, brokerage, trading firm, or investment firm will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of intraday or short-term trading strategies.
- Prior experience managing a trading book or trading with defined risk limits will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with trading platforms, market-data terminals, and charting tools.
