Job Title: Printing Manager – Roto Gravure & CI Flexo

Devendran Plastic Private Limited, a growing flexible packaging manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Printing Manager to lead its Roto Gravure and CI Flexo printing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, supervise and control day-to-day production of Roto Gravure and CI Flexo printing machines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum machine utilisation, quality and minimum wastage.
- Monitor print quality parameters including shade matching, registration, viscosity, GSM, adhesion, defects and customer specifications.
- Lead printing operators, assistant operators, ink kitchen and supporting team members.
- Ensure proper job setting, cylinder/plate mounting, ink preparation, colour matching and approval before bulk production.
- Reduce rejection, rework, ink consumption, solvent loss, material wastage and machine downtime.
- Coordinate closely with QA, Prepress, Production Planning, Maintenance, Lamination and Stores departments.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality complaints, print defects and process deviations.
- Ensure preventive maintenance coordination and timely rectification of machine-related issues.
- Maintain production reports, wastage records, quality documents, shift reports and MIS.
- Train and develop operators on SOPs,



quality awareness, safety, housekeeping and productivity improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food packaging requirements, GMP, BRCGS/ISO standards and company SOPs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and cost control.

Candidate Profile:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Polymer Technology or a relevant discipline preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in flexible packaging printing operations.
- Strong hands-on exposure to both Roto Gravure and CI Flexo printing machines is mandatory.
- Sound knowledge of inks, solvents, cylinders, plates, substrates, colour matching and printing process controls.
- Experience in handling large production teams and multiple shifts.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication and planning skills.
- Ability to manage customer quality requirements and deliver consistent output under production deadlines.
