Principal UX / Product Designer – Industrial Enterprise Systems

Role Summary - We are seeking a highly analytical, framework-driven UX/Product Designer to architect the next generation of our manufacturing software. Instead of focusing on field ethnography, you will leverage online research, industry whitepapers, competitive intelligence, and expert interviews to map complex manufacturing domains.You will design a multi-tiered information architecture that serves three core user tiers:

Strategic (long-term business health),

Tactical (monthly/weekly optimization), and

Operational (real-time execution). Your primary design challenge will be balancing the need for rapid, high-level information consumption with context-aware, deep-dive data granularity tailored strictly to each persona.Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Advanced Desk Research: Synthesize internet research, SaaS benchmarks, industrial frameworks (e.g., ISA-95), and documentation into clear system maps.
- Map Multi-Tier Personas: Define distinct information needs for Strategic (Executives), Tactical (Plant/Operations Managers), and Operational (Supervisors/Lead Operators) roles.
- Architect Layered Navigation: Design an intuitive navigation framework that allows seamless transitions between bird's-eye global matrices and localized deep-dives.
- Design Speed-to-Insight Screens: Build high-density dashboards that optimize "time-to-insight," ensuring executives get quick trends and operators get immediate, zero-latency exception alerts.




- Define Data Granularity Rules: Establish UX rules for when to show aggregated summary metrics vs. when to expose raw, granular machine/batch data.
- Deliver Interactive Frameworks: Produce comprehensive user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and clickable prototypes showcasing interactive drill-down states.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years in UX/Product Design, with a heavy emphasis on complex B2B SaaS, data analytics, BI tools, or enterprise resource platforms.
- Information Architecture Mastery: Deep expertise in structuring multi-layered navigation systems for large-scale enterprise data ecosystems.
- Analytical Research Skills: Proven ability to rapidly learn a highly technical domain (like MES, ERP, or Supply Chain) purely through online research, technical specifications, and desktop analysis.
- Persona & Layout Layering: A portfolio demonstrating distinct dashboard philosophies—clean and macro-focused for strategy; high-density and action-oriented for tactics/operations.
- Interaction Design Excellence: Mastery in designing intuitive drill-down patterns, data visualization, filtering, and contextual side-panels.
- Tools: Mastery of modern design and collaborative prototyping ecosystems (e.g., Figma).

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
