Principal Enterprise Data Architect, Finance & Analytics
Role Profile & Summary
We are seeking a market-standard Principal Enterprise Data Architect (10–15+ years of experience) specializing in Data Architecture and Enterprise Analytics. This individual must possess strong hands-on Snowflake architectural expertise alongside deep, meaningful exposure to finance and ERP data domains.
The candidate will bridge business strategy and technical execution, translating complex financial workflows into scalable enterprise data architecture.
What You Will Own & Drive
- Translate complex business processes into robust, scalable enterprise data models.
- Define source-to-target architecture across NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, and related enterprise platforms.
- Lead decisions around conformed dimensions, master data management (MDM), and reference-data strategy.
- Partner closely with the CFO, FP&A; leadership, and finance stakeholders to design financial, management, and executive reporting models.
- Define clear boundaries for what workload and logic belongs in source systems, Snowflake, the semantic layer, and reporting tools.
- Establish data contracts, end-to-end data lineage, and enterprise architecture guardrails.
- Make pragmatic, high-impact architecture decisions while active migrations and modernizations are underway.
- Mentor, guide, and drive the Snowflake engineering and data delivery teams.
Must-Have Experience & Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Analytics.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture and platform design.
- Deep expertise in dimensional modeling, domain data modeling, and enterprise data warehousing patterns.
- Robust familiarity with ERP and finance datasets, preferably NetSuite or comparable enterprise ERPs.
- Hands-on experience with FP&A; workflows, financial modeling, and management reporting requirements.
- Proven track record in source-system consolidation, system integration, or M&A; data integration.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to align technical architectures with finance and business leadership.
