We are looking for a Power BI Analyst who can turn complex operational and commercial data into clear dashboards, powerful insights and better business decisions .

? About the Role

As a Power BI Analyst , you will be responsible for building and maintaining the reporting and analytics layer that supports decision-making across FMCG, commerce, manufacturing, finance, supply chain and retail operations .

You will work closely with business and technology teams to understand what the business needs to know, identify the right data, build the analytical model and ultimately turn it into actionable intelligence .

? Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports .
- Build robust and scalable Power BI data models using best practices.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns and business KPIs .
- Use Power Query (M) to extract, clean, transform and prepare data.
- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL databases, Excel, APIs and other business systems .
- Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting and analytical requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Define and standardise KPIs, metrics and reporting logic across business functions.
- Analyse sales, procurement, inventory, finance, manufacturing, retail and operational data.
- Identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps and opportunities through data analysis.
- Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies between systems and reports.
- Optimise existing dashboards for performance, usability and scalability .




- Implement appropriate data security and access controls, including Row-Level Security (RLS) where required.
- Maintain documentation for data models, measures, reports and reporting definitions.
- Collaborate with Technology teams on data pipelines, ETL processes and BI architecture.
- Support leadership and business teams with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven decision-making .
- Continuously improve the company's BI standards, reporting processes and analytics capabilities.

? What We're Looking ForEssential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI .
- Strong understanding of DAX and experience developing business measures and calculations.
- Good knowledge of Power Query / M .
- Robust understanding of data modelling , including relationships, star schemas and dimensional modelling.
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience designing dashboards that are both visually effective and business-focused .
- Strong understanding of KPIs, performance measurement and business analytics.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate data quality issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering | Computer Science | Statistics | Economics | Business | Data Analytics or a related discipline is preferred.

Equivalent practical experience and demonstrable BI capability will also be considered.
