Job Title: Lifeguard

Department: Sports & Recreation / Club Operations

Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of members and guests using the swimming pool. The role includes continuous pool surveillance, enforcing safety protocols, responding to emergencies, performing water rescues and first aid/CPR, maintaining safety equipment, conducting pool-area inspections, recording incidents, and supporting swimming events and club activities.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all members and guests using the swimming pool.
- Monitor pool activities continuously and remain alert to identify potential risks or emergencies.
- Enforce pool rules, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards among members and guests.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to water-related emergencies and accidents.
- Perform water rescues and provide first aid/CPR within the scope of training and certification.
- Conduct regular checks of the pool area, including water conditions, safety equipment, signage, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure lifesaving equipment such as rescue tubes, life rings, first-aid kits, and emergency equipment is available and in proper condition.
- Maintain a safe and clean pool environment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.




- Monitor children and vulnerable swimmers and take appropriate preventive action when required.
- Assist members and guests with basic pool-related queries and provide guidance on safe swimming practices.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, pool checks, and other safety-related activities.
- Coordinate with the Club Manager / Sports & Recreation Manager during emergencies and report incidents immediately.
- Support swimming events, competitions, training sessions, and other club activities conducted at the pool.
- Follow established emergency response, evacuation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain professional grooming, discipline, and courteous behaviour while interacting with members and guests.
- Participate in regular lifesaving, first-aid, CPR, and emergency preparedness training to maintain operational readiness.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the pool and surrounding areas remain clean, safe, and operational.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Club Manager / Sports & Recreation Manager

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
