Role Description The Polymer Engineer will work in office in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with manufacturing and R&D; teams.

Responsibilities include developing and optimizing polymer formulations for blades and edge-related products, supporting extrusion and other processing methods, and improving material performance and durability. The role involves conducting laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, analyzing test data, and translating findings into production-ready solutions.

The Polymer

Engineer will prepare technical documentation, assist in troubleshooting materials-related issues on the shop floor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Polymer Engineering and practical experience working with Polymers in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Polymer Science , including structure–property relationships and material selection for performance applications.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Research and Development (R&D;) , including experimental design, data analysis, and process/material optimization.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of Extrusion processes and related polymer processing operations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, with attention to safety, quality, and production timelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with proficiency in basic laboratory and testing procedures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and quality.
