A plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and fittings (sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, etc.)
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints and building codes
- Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and faults
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local plumbing regulations
- Use tools and equipment like pipe cutters, wrenches, and drain snakes
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls when needed
Required Skills:
