Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the complete manufacturing operations of a plant producing chocolates and chocolate-based products. The candidate will be responsible for production, quality, manpower, maintenance, cost control, safety, and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee end-to-end plant operations and daily manufacturing activities.
- Plan and achieve production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Lead and manage production, maintenance, quality, stores, and other plant teams.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and resources.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, yield, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Control/QA to maintain consistent product quality.
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
- Manage production planning and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement SOPs and process improvements to increase productivity.




- Identify operational issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain plant-level MIS, production reports, and performance dashboards.
- Train, guide, and motivate employees to achieve operational and business targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with senior management regarding plant performance, challenges, and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Production, Mechanical, or a related field preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in plant/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in food, FMCG, confectionery, chocolate, or chocolate-based product manufacturing will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, maintenance coordination, and cost management.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Valuable knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and production MIS.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
