We are looking for a skilled Production & Maintenance Engineer to manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth functioning of production and manufacturing machinery. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, machine performance, and ensuring minimum downtime in the production area.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachinery Maintenance

- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Identify machine faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained and available for continuous production.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and identify recurring maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when required.

Production Support
- Work closely with the Production Team to minimize machine downtime.
- Attend machine breakdowns on priority to avoid production delays.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery.
- Ensure machines are operated safely and efficiently.
- Suggest improvements to increase machine efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Maintenance Records & Spare Parts
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and machine history.
- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance consumables.
- Coordinate with the purchase/admin team for timely procurement of spare parts.
- Track maintenance expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Safety & Compliance




- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to safety standards.
- Follow proper lockout/tagout and machine safety procedures where applicable.
- Ensure electrical, mechanical, and production equipment are maintained safely.
- Support audits and maintain required maintenance documentation.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production machinery.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read machine manuals, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during machine breakdowns.
- Hands-on approach to machinery maintenance.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Preferred Experience Experience in a manufacturing, food processing, dairy, FMCG, or production plant will be preferred.

Working Conditions
- Full time, on-site role.
- The candidate may be required to work in shifts and attend urgent machinery breakdowns as per production requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
