Role & responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for the complete factory operations and plant performance.

- Lead and manage Production, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch and other plant functions.

- Manage large-scale manpower and ensure productivity, discipline and proper workforce utilization.

- Control production costs, wastage, material consumption and operational expenses.

- Monitor production, quality, inventory and other key plant performance indicators.

- Develop and implement SOPs, systems and processes to improve plant efficiency.

- Identify operational problems and take timely corrective and preventive actions.

- Prepare and present plant performance reports, improvement plans and major operational issues to Management.

- Drive continuous improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction across the plant.

- Plan and monitor production as per sales and dispatch requirements.

- Ensure all products are manufactured according to defined quality, food safety and company standards.





- Manage plant manpower; shift planning, attendance, discipline and productivity.

- Train, guide and supervise plant staff and ensure proper work allocation.

- Maintain 5S, safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the plant.

- Take responsibility for overall plant productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety and discipline.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations, Management or a related field.

- 815 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, preferably in FMCG, food, bakery, snacks or similar industries.

- Experience in handling a complete manufacturing plant and multiple departments.

- Robust knowledge of production planning, quality control, maintenance, manpower and cost management.

- Experience in food safety and FMCG manufacturing processes will be preferred.
