Role & responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for plant operations, production, quality, maintenance and profitability.
- Ensure smooth functioning of electrical & mechanical equipment, batching plants, transit mixers, pumps and utilities.
- Plan and monitor production, dispatch, plant capacity and resource utilisation.
- Ensure preventive/breakdown maintenance and minimise plant downtime.
- Monitor electrical systems, DG sets, panels, motors, automation and mechanical equipment for protected and efficient operation.
- Ensure concrete quality, raw material management and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Drive cost optimisation, energy efficiency and reduction in operational losses.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and environmental requirements.
- Lead and develop plant teams, contractors and operators.
- Coordinate with Sales, Quality, Technical, Maintenance and Commercial teams for smooth business operations.
