Role Overview

Responsible for auditing and monitoring plant production activities, ensuring production records, processes, material consumption, quality, productivity, and operational controls are accurate and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit daily production activities, production reports, and output against targets.
- Verify raw material consumption, wastage, yield, and finished goods production.
- Check batch records, production registers, weighment records, and stock movement.
- Identify production losses, process deviations, abnormal consumption, and discrepancies.
- Verify actual production with ERP/MIS/system records and physical quantities.
- Monitor adherence to approved production processes and SOPs.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality,



Maintenance, and Accounts teams for audit requirements.
- Conduct physical verification of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods where required.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production audit reports and highlight major variances.
- Track corrective actions and ensure audit observations are closed within the defined timeline.
- Report irregularities, process gaps, unauthorized practices, or potential financial/production losses to management.
- Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of audit records.

Required Skills & Qualification

- Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, Production, or related field.
- Valuable knowledge of production processes, material consumption, stock reconciliation, and MIS.
- Good Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in refractory/manufacturing industry will be preferred.
