Post : Manager Plant Administration & Statutory Compliance
Location : Dharwad, Karnataka
Qualification: Graduate (Qualification in Labour Laws, IR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Safety preferred)
Experience : 8 years
Salary : 5 Lakhs
Job Profile
- Maintain licences, registers, and records under applicable factory laws; coordinate inspections, renewals, and audit closures.
- Monitor contract labour compliance, statutory wage records, attendance, PF/ESI, and welfare requirements.
- Coordinate with State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) officials for consents, environmental returns, and hazardous waste management.
- Act as the key plant point of contact for Factory, Labour, Pollution Control, Fire, Police, and local district authorities.
- Manage day-to-day plant administration including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, guest house, and facility management.
- Maintain compliance calendars, contractor documentation,
and monthly dashboards for management review.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Statutory & Government Liaison: Minimum 5 years of independent interaction with statutory authorities (Labour, Factory, Pollution Control).
- Plant Administration: Solid background in managing plant security, housekeeping, transport, and facility operations.
- Contractor & Labour Compliance: Practical knowledge of factory laws, industrial relations, PF/ESI regulations, and contractor audits.
- Industry Background: Proven experience in Steel, Coke, Cement, Power, Mining, Chemicals, or Heavy Engineering.
