– PIPING DETAILING ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Piping Detailing Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design and detailing for industrial/EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate piping drawings, layouts, and fabrication deliverables in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed piping layout, GA, isometric and fabrication drawings.

Develop piping arrangements based on P&IDs;,



equipment layouts and project specifications.

Prepare pipe routing, support details and MTO/BOM.

Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation teams.

Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, constructability and compliance with project requirements.

Incorporate design changes and comments into drawings.

Ensure drawings comply with applicable ASME, API and project standards.

Coordinate with site and fabrication teams for technical clarifications.

Maintain drawing/document revisions and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Participate in design reviews and resolve piping-related technical issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in piping detailing/design.

Good knowledge of P&IDs;, piping layouts, isometrics and piping supports.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D / E3D / SP3D will be an advantage.

Knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings and specifications.

Valuable understanding of piping design codes and standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in EPC, process plants, steel plants, power plants, oil & gas or industrial projects will be preferred.
