Role Description This is a full-time, in office Piping Engineer role based in Kochi.

The Piping

Engineer will be responsible for developing piping layouts and designs, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing engineering calculations, conducting stress analysis on piping systems, selecting appropriate materials and pipe components,



and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams such as mechanical, civil, and structural engineers. The role involves reviewing project specifications, supporting design reviews, resolving technical issues during construction, and ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and quality requirements.

The Piping

Engineer will also contribute to documentation, support project planning, and assist in client communication as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Piping Design and general Piping engineering for industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Pipe system layout, material selection, and understanding of piping components.
- Ability to perform engineering Calculations related to fluid flow, pressure drop, and sizing.
- Experience with Stress Analysis of piping systems and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD/3D modeling tools commonly used for piping design (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, or similar).
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and design guidelines for process plants.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in consulting or industrial projects is an advantage.
