Role Overview

We’re looking for a senior Laravel Developer with the technical depth to design and implement server-side code in modern Laravel. Your main responsibility will be designing and building applications written in PHP, working closely with front-end developers to integrate back-end components with the interfaces they build. You’ll lead the web application development lifecycle end to end, from concept through delivery and post-launch support, so clear communication and collaboration matter as much as technical depth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, document, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal and premium service platforms.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications.
- Prepare and maintain applications using standard development tools.
- Build and extend backend data services and REST APIs.
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle, from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
- Communicate effectively on task progress, evaluations, schedules,



and technical or process issues.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager informed of development status, acting as a liaison between the development team and project management.
- Keep up with new trends and best practices in web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer.
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP (8.x) and up-to-date Laravel (10.x or later).
- Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design.
- Experience with software testing using PHPUnit.
- MySQL profiling and query optimization.
- Creative and efficient problem solver.

Good to Have

- Experience with Laravel Queues, Jobs, Events, and Scheduling.
- Experience implementing authentication with Laravel Sanctum or Passport.
- Familiarity with additional testing frameworks such as PHPSpec or Behat.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis for caching and queues.
- Exposure to third-party API integrations, including AI/LLM APIs.

Eligibility

- 5+ years of hands-on PHP/Laravel development experience.
- Available to work on-site in Gurugram, 5 days a week.
