Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications and services.
- Build responsive, scalable, and secure applications using PHP frameworks.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, and clients to understand requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and database efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and quality standards.
- Develop unit tests and support automated testing initiatives.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support documents.
- Support production releases and post-implementation activities.

Job Requirements

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Frameworks

- Strong experience in PHP development.
- Hands-on experience with one or more frameworks:
- Laravel
- Symfony
- CodeIgniter
- Yii
- CakePHP
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Front-End Technologies

- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Experience with Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React,



Angular, or Vue.js is desirable.

Database Skills

- MySQL / MariaDB.
- PostgreSQL.
- Database design, optimization, indexing, and query tuning.

API & Integration

- REST API development and integration.
- JSON/XML data handling.
- Third-party API integrations.
- Authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and SSO.

Version Control & DevOps

- Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Docker and containerized deployments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or caching mechanisms.
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and OWASP standards.
